Abigail Hiorns and Helen Spear were the recipients of our fundraiser award for 2025-2026 for the amazing funds that they raised and continue to raise for the group.
Abigail has put a number of collection pots at her place of work and Abigail has agreed to become our official events volunteer in charge of extracting your money to buy raffle tickets at our events. I think you’ll agree, she is very good at this with her persuasive but gentle manner 👏🏻🥳😜 and that she very much deserved her fundraising award earlier this year. Helen is our talented ‘bag lady’ and smartie lover extraordinaire. She puts her amazing sewing skills to great use and makes the most amazing bags of various types and sizes and sells them at craft events and at our well being weekends. Not content with raising money this way, she fills smartie tubes with £1 coins and donates them to Mutual Support. Thank you for all that you do Helen!
